I am very surprised that there are almost no comments on your blog! This is my first visit and I really enjoy your blog! Your writing just reminds me that God looks after us everyday and we can feel his grace and love through good times and bad times. Please keep up this blog! I have no idea if you are still reading the comments here, but I will take a chance.
I had been meaning to thank you for a very long time. You probably don't know me, but you have cast such a huge impact on my spiritual life. It was you who brought me back to the Lord, after feeling lost in my spiritual life for a very long time. I clearly felt the presence of CHRIST when I saw your humility, honesty and openness. Unlike other pastors, who thrived on passing judgements on non-believers, you encouraged us to accept others with the love of CHRIST. Sermon after sermon, you showed me the love of our Lord Jesus CHRIST and you taught me how to appreciate the Bible in new dimensions. I never knew there were so many hidden wonders in the Bible until I listened to your sermons. You reminded me of the importance of caring for the community, and thinking and living outside the traditional "Christian box". You challenged me to re-examine my faith and reassured me that it is OK to have doubts from time to time, and it is OK to challenge some of the conservative thinking held by evangelicals if it is not consistent with the message of CHRIST. The love and power of God really touched me deeply through your sermons. All I can say is I have become a way stronger Christian because of you. I will never forget the importance of being humble, and non-judgemental as a Christian.
I can't possibly express how much I appreciate what you have done in my spiritual life. I hope and pray that things will eventually work out for you. I know they will, if we have faith in the Lord. I will continue to pray for you and your family, and I truly look forward to listening to your wonderful sermons and seeing you serve the Lord again. I know, and I am sure the Lord will continue to use you. The Lord will not give up on a huge talent like you.
